How to install duckmod rom on huawei u8185

Requirements

• Clockworkmod recovery installed in the device, if not do it here
• Custom rom to be installed is downloaded: Duckmod-download from the link: www.4shared.com/zip/MN5olDU8/DuCkMoD7.html
• SD card

 

Process of installation

DISCLAIMER: Before installing a custom rom make sure you make an android back up. back up your current rom so that if the rom doesn't work you can revert to the original rom. 

• After downloading the custom rom, copy it to the root of your SD card i.e. copy it directly to SD through a usb cable.
•  Boot your device int recovery: press volume up+power on button.
• Once in the recovery navigate to to advanced>select wipe dalvik cache
• Move back to the main recovery menu and wipe data/factory reset and also wipe cache partition
• Select install zip from sdcard>choose zip from sdcard>navigate to the rom and select it to install.
• Allow the rom to install then reboot your device.
