- Remove unnecessary applications that are installed by the manufacturer and that are eating up your ROM.
- Install and use applications that require root permission.
- Install customized themes.
- you can be able to install adfree and adaway applications that prevents poping and annoying advertisement when browsing with your smartphone.
- You may void your warranty since most manufacturers and service providers don’t allow rooting and thus proceed to read this article at your own risk.
- You may end up bricking your phone.

- Download Unlockroot in the link:http://www.4shared.com/rar/rmEcngHn/unlock_root_23.htm or http://www.unlockroot.com. its about 9.2MB. Its compatible with all windows xp, win7 and win8.
- Now install usb drivers for your device ie for sumsung you can use samsung kies, nokia-nokia pc ets. otherwise some drivers of some devices must be installed manually. So connect your device via usb cable and allow your computer to detect it, if it doest right click on computer icon, click on properties, then device manager, from there you will see that the drivers of your device are not installed,click to update the drives.make sure thatr you have a working network.
- Next disconnect your device from pc then enable USB debugging on your device by: settings>applications>development>tick usb debugging and allow mock locations.
- Connect you device to pc via usb cable and do not enable usb connect.
- Now install unlockroot software you downloaded, it automatically launches and wait for it to detect your device.
- Choose your device from the auto list.
- click root.
- wait as your device is being rooted.
- Now reboot your device.
- check if superuser application is installed in your device.
- Download root checker basic from the playstore and install it.
- Run the root checker basic to confirm that your device is rooted.
