How to increase
internal memory of your android
Some smartphones come loaded with several unnecessary
applications that eat up most of the device space/ROM leaving the user with
only limited space to install applications.
Don’t worry anymore because now you can increase the
internal memory of your smartphone to the size you want.
Requirement:
- Your device is rooted, if not root here
- An sdcard-1GB and above
- Apps2sd- download from the playstore
- Mini tool partition wizard: download here
Procedure
DISCLAIMER: This
process will erase all your data in the Sdcard, so you can make a backup to
your pc.
- Install the mini tool partition magic downloaded in your pc.
- Connect your sdcard to the pc, you can use a cable, memory card reader or microsd.
- Launch the mini tool partition.
- Navigate to the disk drive of sdcard
- Click on the drive and create:
Partition
label-write any name
Create
as- select primary
File
system-fat32
Drive
letter-leave the way it is
Partition
size-0.7GB for 1GB sdcard,1.5GB for 2GB sdcard and 2.5GB for 4GB
- Once done click ok.
- Now create another partition on the remaining unallocated space on the sdcard:
Partition
label-data/programs
Create
as- select primary
File
system-ext2
Drive
letter-leave the way it is
Partition
size-allocate all the space
- Once done click ok. On the menu bar of the mini tool partition, click apply to apply the changes.
- Once finished, insert the sdcard in the phone.
- Install apss2sd that you had downloaded from the playstore and launch it
- Create mount scripts option appears, select ext2
- Reboot your device
- Launch the apps2sd application and now you can create link for any application you want, uninstall any apps you don’t want including the system applications.
